Dax Murray: Revolutionary Fantasy
Leah has survived war and strife multiple times over her long life. She's a leannán sidhe, and as long as she has a pet human to feed on, she can survive anything. But that doesn't mean it's been easy. War and strife has lead to her fleeing her home once already, and she hopes she doesn't have to do it again.
Catty did exactly what her family wanted; go to college, get a good job, and forget all about her fanciful dreams of being an author. Well, almost everything. They definitely did not want her to transition. But at least her job has good insurance.
Leah shouldn't fall in love with the struggling writer; Catty is food, not friend. Her pets live short but inspired lives; there's no point in loving someone you kill. But she does. And when a goddess sniffs out Leah's weakness and seeks to use it, Leah will have to choose: save the world or save Catty?
